LISTEN - New Mashup - Eminem vs Mansun - Take It Easy Slim Shady

Hi everyone! Time for a new mashup...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpPopuDjgYs

Eminem vs Mansun - Take It Easy Slim Shady

This mashup was created using the acapella version of 'The Real Slim Shady' by Eminem and the instrumental version of 'Take It Easy Chicken' by Mansun.

This is my fourth mashup of the year which feature's one of my favourite bands, Mansun. I was inspired to finish this mashup by the fact that Paul Draper has recently returned to the public eye with his new project 'The Anchoress'. Other exciting Mansun related news is the semi-announcement of Paul Draper's solo album and most importantly the upcoming Mansun convention which is happening in Chester!

Here is a list of acapellas and instrumentals that I am interested in obtaining for mashup purposes.

Classic Lost Mashup: Smells Like Missy Elliott (Conway Mix)

Until now this classic mashup was ridiculously difficult to find on the internet!

It's Missy Elliott's 'Get Your Freak On' vs Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit':

Download it here.

Youtube link.

This mashup was first created around 2002, and the artist responsible for it is presumably Conway as this mashup is called the Conway mix.

If you would like more details about this record here is it's discogs entry. The only other place I could find this mashup on the internet was on DJ Shir Khan's Copyright Candies compilation on Groove Shark - that being the source of this file! In fact I was almost ready to upload a recording of a copy of the track off an old tape I was that unconvinced of finding this track online!

Happy Listening!

Request A Mashup

If there is an artist or a song you would like to hear me make a mashup of, request it in the comments on this post and I will attempt to make a mashup from your chosen artist or song.

It may be that someone requests an artist or song that I have already started work on, if so I will give priority to finishing that mashup.

Feel free to also make requests via any of my social media channels;Youtube, twitter, tumblr or facebook.

I do my best to fulfill any requests but sometimes due to other factors such as the lack of instrmuental or acapella tracks available for a particular artist mean that making a mashup of that artist or particular song won't be possible.

To get an idea of what my mashups usually sound like checkout this YouTube playlist:

Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing your requests!
